Testicular carcinomas

The metastazising testicular carcinoma (i.e. the tumor cells have already spread) has an excellent healing rate if treated with modern chemotherapy.
But there are also a few testicular carcinomas which do not respond sufficiently to a conventional therapy or which recur (relapse). In that case, another therapy attempt can be made by combining chemotherapy with the whole-body hyperhermia (WBTH- testicular carcinoma).

There exists a special treatment concept for children and adolescents
(RHT- testicular carcinoma of adolescents).
