Ovarian cancer The ovarian carcinoma can be treated successfully to high percentage in a primary therapy consisting of operation and chemotherapy. In case of a relapse, however, the chances of a successful treatment are significantly lower. In this context, the effectiveness of a combination of chemotherapy (Carboplatin) and whole-body hyperthermia is examined as a relapse therapy (WBHT- ovarian carcinoma).
